Academy for Political Development is a programme of political education for young leaders from politics, business, public administration, civil society and media.
Programme is implemented in partnership with the Council of Europe, in the framework of the programme Schools of Politics in South-East Europe. The programme Schools of Politics is a civic initiative for promotion of democracy, human rights, rule of law and European values in transition countries of SE Europe.
Academy is not an independent legal entity, but acts within the association European Circle – Croatia.
Programme
Academy provides a one year educational programme that consists of three weekend seminars in Croatia and a summer school at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
After completing the programme, the participants receive a diploma from the Council of Europe. Participation in the Academy's programme is free of charge.
Participants
Participants are young leaders from politics, business, public administration, civil society and media, who already gained recognition in their field of work and wish to enlarge their knowledge and exchange experiences about political processes.
