Academy for Political Development organised regional seminar „„Europeanisation of National Policies: Introduction to Policy Analysis“ in IMPACT center in Zadar, 21-23. May 2010. This project is a follow-up activity of the first regional seminar „Public Policies and Political Decision-Making: Shifts and Challenges to Making Politics More Rational“, organised in Zagreb in September 2009., and was prepared in cooperation with Faculty of Political Science.

The event gathered participants from partner organizations (Schools of Political Studies of the Council of Europe) from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania. Lecturers were eminent experts from abroad, the region and Croatia, both from academic background as well as practicioners: dr. Hal Colebatch (University of New South Wales in Australia and University of Twente in Netherlands), Anka Kekez and Maja Horvat (MAP Consulting), dr. Snežana Đorđević (Faculty
of Political Science in Belgrade), mr. Darius Žeruolis (Senior International Expert in EU Integration to the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Deputy Government Secretary of Lithuania for EU Affairs), dr. Peta Colebatch (independent consultant), dr. Snježana Vasiljević (Faculty of Law, Zagreb), Sandra Benčić (Center for Peace Studies), mr. Adnan Kadribašić (Human Rights Centre, University of Sarajevo), dr. Simona Kustec Lipicer (Faculty of Social
Sciences, Ljubljana), mr. Miroslav Božić (Director of the Directorate for Agricultural Policy and International Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development of the Republic Croatia), dr. Zdravko Petek and mr. Danijela Dolenec (Faculty of Political Science, Zagreb), Dubravka Flinta (Head of the National Fund, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia) and mr. Darija Ramljak, Deputy Director, Division for Strategy and Integration Policies, Directorate for European Integration of
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Seminar's programme has enabled participants to gain additional knowledge on public policy process, the exchange of good practices and experience, and to network with other young professionals from the whole region. The topic of public policy will be further explored in the upcoming activities of the network.
